About Us

Malchutah

Welcome to the Malchuta Gift Shop website. The English version is currently being built and will be available soon. In the meantime, you are welcome to contact us via WhatsApp or email and we will personally guide you through our store.

Malchuta is a wildly-colorful, boutique gallery in the heart of the enchanted village of Ein Kerem, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, established by two artists Leah Silver and Stav Hoffman. In the center of the village, we’ve created our own Malchuta, our personal kingdom - a gift shop to shine our creative, artistic designs into the world.

At a time when the world was experiencing the Corona crisis and tremendous unclarity raged through the air, a gate opened for us to realize our dream. We got together, Leah and Stav, with a lot of faith at the time of the first lockdown, decided to open the store and began our joint venture.

We felt that this was the time to empower local art, female creativity, and independent businesses, both our own and those around us. In addition to the products of Leah and Stav, this vibrant store creates a stage for local, female creativity, gives a platform for another 10 creative artists from Jerusalem and the area, and we are still welcoming new comers.

Upon entering the store, the heart is opened and fills with a special energy, an experience in which all the senses are activated. The eyes delight in the colors, the sense of smell fills with wonderful aromas, and the heart meets the hearts of the creators, within each and every product, and when personally meeting with them.

At Malchuta you will find jewelry, ceramics, natural cosmetics, designer ceramic tiles for floors and walls, and many other products that will bring inspiration to the home, body, and mind. Everything is specially hand-made, infusing soul into the materials and exuding this soul into the beholder.

It is said that ART is "the glory of the world"; it is the light shining out from everything. May have the desire to feel it and truly live it. May anyone who enters our "kingdom" feel a little more connected to themselves.

Malchuta comes to lift you up!!!

May it be!

Thanks for being a part of our journey,

Leah and Stav

My Motto: "Fake it till you make it"

So ... what exactly is "Malchota"?

Malchuta means "kingdom" in Aramaic.

In the kabbalistic tradition, this is the lowest, feminine sefira and corresponds to the sefira of  Keter, Crown.

It is Malchut when it is connected to the land, to matter, and to Mother Earth.

We have a slang expression: " Be in your kingdom." This is an inner compass that is constantly checking:  "Am I living my story? Am I successfully shining my light? Am I counterfeit? Am I off-center?"

Malchuta is the desire and the prayer, and everyone who is connected to it is a little more connected to his/her innermost point and to his/her wonderous strengths.

We're happy to present our creations to you and to meet you in person.
